Desiree Partida is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Mexican American, bilingual (English/Spanish), and U.S. Air Force veteran who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She strives to provide a safe, respectful, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
Desiree uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthy coping skills. She supports clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and behavioral challenges.
As a therapist fluent in both English and Spanish, Desiree incorporates each client’s preferred language and cultural background into the counseling process. As a Mexican American and first-generation individual, she understands the importance of cultural identity, family dynamics, and the experiences that can come with navigating immigrant and multicultural life. Desiree is also an LGBTQIA+ ally and welcomes clients from diverse identities, backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences.
