Joseph graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in English. After working for over a decade in various roles, including sports writing, sales, sales leadership, and management, Joseph earned a Master of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University. Eager to be a listening ear for others, he entered the field of therapy. He appreciates connecting with people and supporting them on their mental health journeys. Joseph uses a person-centered approach, tailoring his support to individuals and couples based on their unique needs. He also favors solution-focused brief therapy, reminding clients of their existing strengths. Joseph enjoys working with teens, young adults, adults, the elderly, and couples.

In addition to being a therapist, Joseph works as a school social worker at NexTech High School during the day and serves as a board member for Girls Growing II Women. He is married with a 4-year-old daughter and enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, and playing Xbox One to recharge.
