Chad is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is a Certified Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. He is a graduate of Hope College and received his master’s degree from Western Michigan University. Chad’s focus is on developing a safe, trusting and strong therapeutic relationship for healing to occur and to have a sense of hope and empowerment restored. He is assists individuals in creating a personalized “toolbox” to aide in the healing process. He has extensive experience in working with adults, college age students, adolescents and pre-teen who may experiencing behavioral challenges or addictions, difficulty in school, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, anger or adjusting to changes in their lives. He utilizes the following evidenced based therapeutic approaches: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Additionally, Chad enjoys spending with his wife and kids. He enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, going to concerts, snow boarding and living an active lifestyle. Furthermore, he enjoys reading and being a lifelong learner!
