- Telehealth,
(616)222-0631 ext. 750
Lara earned her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Rochester University and went on to complete her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. After college, she worked as a social worker, gaining invaluable experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. Now, as a therapist, Lara has built upon that foundation, deepening her ability to help people explore their pain, heal, and move toward lasting growth.
Lara is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space for clients to process their emotions and experiences. She finds fulfillment in helping people better understand themselves, build healthier relationships, and work toward a preferred narrative for their lives.
She especially enjoys working with couples who want to strengthen their connection and improve communication, individuals navigating major life transitions, those experiencing grief, and clients working through the complexities of religious deconstruction. For Lara, the most rewarding part of therapy is witnessing growth, and seeing people find clarity, healing, and hope along their journey.
When Lara isn’t working, she loves spending time with her family and cheering on her kids as they do what they love. She enjoys going on daily walks with her husband and their two dogs, who often like to pop in and say hello during telehealth sessions. Lara believes in finding joy in everyday moments and bringing that same sense of warmth and connection into her work with clients.
