Kenisha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly three decades of experience serving children and families across the State of Michigan. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to supporting those involved in the child welfare system, helping clients find stability, healing, and hope through life’s most challenging moments.

She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Grand Valley State University, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical practice and person-centered care.

Kenisha is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strength and resilience. She finds deep fulfillment in witnessing transformation — seeing clients gain clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. Whether clients are working through a difficult transition, managing stress or anxiety, or seeking greater balance and fulfillment, she is committed to helping them move toward healing and wholeness.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Strength-Focused Therapy (SFT), empowering clients to challenge unhelpful thought patterns while building upon their existing skills and resources. Kenisha believes that every person has the capacity for growth and change when given a safe space to be heard and understood. She has had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and is especially passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions.

Ultimately, Kenisha views therapy as a collaborative and compassionate process — one that empowers individuals to heal, grow, and thrive. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or simply someone to walk alongside you, Kenisha is there to extend an arm and help you move forward with confidence and compassion.
