Audrey received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Psychology with a minor in Women’s studies and her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Michigan University. Audrey specializes in adolescent issues, women’s issues, postpartum struggles, premarital and couple work, grief/loss, transitions in life, anxiety, and depression. She values connection and joining with clients to understand their stories and to truly allow clients to be known and seen. Audrey gives clients space to talk freely about issues, fears, beliefs, and provides support and information to help clients choose the best path for their lives. She helps clients develop self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and relates the client’s family background to understand the client’s experience and story. Audrey uses techniques to develop healthier thinking patterns, and builds healthy coping skills. She is passionate about helping clients at a safe pace, identifying strengths, developing personal growth, and helping clients identify possible solutions. She advocates for clients to grow, learn, and overcome obstacles in order to live to their full potential. Audrey has specialized training in Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and Working with Military members and families.
